Qigong Classes begin January 31st!

We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season with loved ones! Winter can be a busy time, yet it is truly meant to be a time of rest allowing us to go within and rejuvenate for the warmer months ahead.

The body is a network of energy systems, and these systems are connected by fascia bringing energy to each cell of the body. Tension or illness in the body makes it more difficult for Qi to flow through. If an area is too tight, the Qi cannot pass and it makes it more difficult for your body to heal. One of the ways to bring about healing is through gentle movement that allows Qi to pass through the body with as much ease as possible.

The Six Healing Sounds along with the Sheba Luohan Qigong is a gentle way to release tension in the organ systems to promote better health.

The 8 Pieces of Brocade Qigong are eight movements that open and close the body, healing and building strength from the inside out. Learn how to engage all of the fascia with the horse stance, how to relax the body under tension, breathwork that engages the vagus nerve, and massage the organ systems. Famous for healing the organs, especially the kidneys.

The sequence of the Ba Duan Jin has many health benefits, one of which is Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an integrative psychotherapy approach that has been extensively researched and proven effective for the treatment of trauma and many other mental health problems. Get in touch with your body, relax the mind, and rejuvenate the soul.
